APBackup hasn't been specially tested with Samba. But there was users who reported about such using of APBackup. So please send APBackup.log file with reported errors to support@avpsoft.com

Obviously it is because of you have 12 hours time system on your computer. Set 24h time system or just set 1 second timout 0:00:01

The difference is in how Word and other editors show letters on preview. You can use ZOOM menu item in APFill to increse a part of the document and you see that letters on screen have smoothed edges. There is no way to do it in Save2FTP but you can limit FTP bandwith on the SERVER side. For example FIleZilla FTP server (and many others) allows you to set Speed Limit for any FTP user. Also you can do it with Firewall

Is there a way that i can have the next backup start immediately after "X backup" is done with out having to wait for "Start after time” option? I just want to have one go right after the next. Just set "Start after time" ="0:00:00" and the task will start immedia...

Some advices:
1. Download the last APBackup build. http://avpsoft.com/products/apbackup
2. Try to use passive mode
3. Check your Firewall log files to get know which ports is closed.

It is because of Save2FTP is a Free program.
APBackup has to show the nag screen in trial version on startup.
In registered version APBackup doesn't show main window on startup and shows only Tray Icon in the Tray bar (additional you can hide icon too so user won't know that APBackup is started).
