Obviously APBackup was running when you uninstalled it.

APBackup is the FILE backup tool so I think even though this feature were implemented It would be new product not APBackup.

If your SFTP client can start with command line parameters you can use "Run after" panel to start your FTP client after archive is completed and use [Zip Name] macros to send archive file name as parameter to SFTP client.

When APBackup transfer files to FTP it open next one port per file so when it open disabled port by Firewall it is waiting response from FTP server but doesn't get it. Try to see log on FTP server and log of your Firewall to figure out which port was denied and open these port intervals (In passive ...

It seems like you have installed firewall which closes FTP data ports. Try to use "Passive mode" on the "Upload to FTP" panel.

APBackup can backup oppened files only if they are oppened not exclusive. For example Microsoft Word files or Excel. If file is opened exclusive (like system files) APBackup can skip it. Thank you for this question we will explore this problem.
