Service doesn't seem to work

I have a full APBackup license on Win2003, and I am running the service with an administrator account. I've read the other thread on this forum about registry, etc, but since I am running the service as an admin it shouldn't apply.

There is nothing in the log, and the scheduled tasks never run.

Can anyone help?

After you installed service you shold exit from APBackup and start APBackup_starter service. Only then APBackup starts as a servcie (You can see "service starts" in log file). If you still have this problem please send APBackup.log file to support@avpsoft.com

It worked.

Thank you. That worked. I was starting the service and then closing apbackup. When I did it in the opposite order, everything worked out well.
