APBackup ends job on file error

Hi,

I am using APBackup for a while now, but I keep running into a bit of a situation: every time APBACKUP runs into a file with 1) an unsupported name, or 2) insufficient rights, the backup doesn't skip the file but halts the backup.

I then manually need to correct the file and restart the backup. Isn't it possible to give a warning in the log and skip such a file and proceed with the rest of the files.

The option "Skip Locked Files" is selected when a locked file is detected, but that shouldn't make a difference. (in fact: it doesn't)

I sent it numerous times:

Er is een SMTP-communicatiefout opgetreden bij de e-mailserver van de geadresseerde. Neem contact op met de systeembeheerder.
<gigo.nl #5.5.0 smtp;554 mail server permanently rejected message (#5.3.0)>

in other words: your smtp-server doesn't accept the message.

I'll paste the log here (moderated off coarse):

In the first part I encounter an 'Invalid Filename'. The exact filename is: "ICON?", which is invalid for FTP transfers. I have no options to prevent these files from appearing (They're left-overs from MAC-machines) and they do not need to be back-up'ed. Also I tried excluding them, but without success.

"De syntaxis van de bestandsnaam, mapnaam of volumenaam is onjuist" is dutch for "The syntax of the file, folder or volume is incorrect"

In the 2nd part of the log somebody accidentally messed up the rights to the file (Which happens often in user folders). I can set that straight, after I receive an errormessage from APBACKUP. However, the backup stops when it encounters such a file. It should be skipped and APBACKUP should continue with the next file.

"Toegang geweigerd" is dutch for "Access denied"

I'm starting to dislike the support I'm getting for this product, which is in effect: ZERO.

Can I expect ANY answer this year?
