AP Backup Bug

Hi all,

I'm running APBackup as a service on a win2k3 server, it wakes up a file server then the uploads database files to it. It then shuts down the file server.

i ran APBackup continuously for 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks it would wake and upload just fine but it wouldn't shut down the file server. nothing had changed. so i fished around changing settings seeing what happened, i found that any fields to do with directory's i couldn't change. Everytime it came up with an error "could not find [a directory kinda like this] C:\something\NetworkService\Desktop\ error blah blah" i'd press ok but i couldn't change that field at all.

so i restart it and it's fine any idea what could cause it in the first place?

It seems like a bug. Try to use short pathes in "Execute before/after" field or just manually enter long path with " in the begin and end of the path.

You shouldn't configure APBackup when it is started in service mode.
You should stop service, start APBackup in normal mode, configure tasks and then start service again.
