Try to ping your host. It is possible that your computer can't find this host

proxy?

Postby freeclear » 13 Apr 2005, 13:18

I have setup a proxy but save2ftp complains about being unable to find host.

Since I am using a proxy, there is no DNS available. The host should be resolved from the proxy.

However, I even added the IP in the hosts file to avoid resolution errors, but -- it doesn't work.

What am I doing wrong?

Please download new build of Save2FTP
http://avpsoft.com/download/save2ftp.exe
This bug with proxy is fixed there.

Please send ArhTasks.bpd and APBackup.log to support@avpsoft.com
(Before sending please clear your user name and password for your ftp server in APbackup Tasks configuration window).

I figured out the fix! Instead of putting my ISP's ftp server address as the host in Source Files, I put my web url.
