Save2FTP doesn't delete my old backups

I am using Save2FTP to backup my files to an FTP server and I have set the depth to 1 day. When I check the log I see these lines:

05.05.2005 02:00:54:[1001][E] The file cannot be deleted 050503(04.05.2005 01:58:00)
05.05.2005 02:00:55:[1001][W] File was deleted 050502(03.05.2005 01:58:00)

I assume that the first line refers to the fact that 050503 cannot be deleted because it is only 1 day old and the second line suggests that 050502 has been deleted because it is more than 1 day old.

However, when I look on the FTP server after the job has completed both folders and all of their contents are still there.

I have checked in the FTP server software and the account that I am using to connect does have permission to create and delete directories and files so I'm not sure what is going on.

Any thoughts?

Make sure you can delete these files through any FTP manager.

I have tested this and I can delete directories using Internet Explorer and my FTP manager software.

Send Arhtasks.bpd and log file to support@avpsoft.com
(When you are sending Arhtasks.bpd clear ftp password and user name in tasks configuration window.)
And please write FTP server name and version you use.

Not deleting files

I'm having the same issue. Sometimes it deletes them. Say, if I clear all but the last day, the next backup will delete the last day. But then, 3 days later, I look and all 3 days are there. But due to folder quotas, the last day is cut off, and after that, no subsequent data is there.

Try to check your FTP server's log file to see why old backups were not deleted.
