Why RGB for inkjet-printers only?

Hi there,

Why does APFill show RGB values only?

Actual inkjets are using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black.
RGB-red needs to be mixed from Magenta and Yellow etc.

APFill doesn't show this. Would it be possible to integrate it?

Best regards,
Tobias

When you measure PDF or PS files APFill shows also CMYK results on the "CMYK" panel. So APFill measures RGB and CMYK coverage. Please read also: http://avpsoft.com/products/apfill/apfill_users_guide/

That's pretty complicated because I'm using TIFF etc.
I have to export them to PDF or PS first.

Since you're using Ghostscript, why don't you integrate TIFF/JPEG etc. loading directly? Ghostscript supports it.

The latets version 5.1 supports raster format measuring (Tiff, JPG, Bmp)
