Post by manfro »

Application runs at systen startup, so when I log on to the server with a new session (no console mode) starts again. Do the skeduled tasks start twice?

To prevent APBackup start on user login just clear option "Run program at system startup" in the APBackup "Options" dialog:

I need "run program start up at windows start up" cheked, but only for the console session on the server. If the same user log in another session via RDP (no console mode) to the same server another ApBackup.exe starts.
Is there a trick to run APBackup only one time or only in console mode?

Just install APBackup as a service and it will work without user login.

When APBackup runs as a service I can't acces GUI to add or modify task, I need to stop service to do this.
Am I doing something wrong or it's by design?

Yes you should stop service, run APBackup in normal mode configure tasks, exit APBackup and start service.
