Backup to FTP

Post by mekmek »

I have purchased and am using APBackup very successfully for the last couple of months. However, I noticed that it doesn't honor the "depth" property I set for the FTP backups, which is currently set to 3 files.

From what I understand, this means that after 3 files are created, it will delete the oldest one and keep 3 all the time. However they keep accumulating day after day and are not deleting (it works fine on the local storage backups, but not on the FTP).

First of all make sure you have enought privilegies to delete files on FTP server. And send ArhTasks.bpd and APBackup.log files to support@avpsoft.com Please clear FTP user name and password in tasks before sending.

I found that this is true, where APBackup backups subfolders. If no subfolders are copied to FTP, the folders will be removed.

As if APBackup can remove all files in one folder, but cannot remove folders.
