Measuring roof area in square feet

I want to measure the area of a roof on google or live maps in square feet. How do I do it?

First you should use "Measuring Scale" menu, draw a line and enter its
length in feets. After this step UDR knows pixels/feets rate and all
results will be shown in pixels and user's units (in your case feets
and area in square feets).
