dimensions listed on results page

When using Apfill to calculate ink coverage of an A4 or A5 page the dimensions given on the resuls page are always much larger than A5 or A4 ie the last pdf calculated from an A5 booklet gave 3508 wide X 2479 high. What does this mean? Incidently I am a novice using Apfill.
